Men Of Gotstyle is a fashion/style series that champions our amazing clients and friends, their style and extraordinary lives. Meet Morgan Jones, long time customer/friend, mixed media artist, based in Toronto. Morgan, formerly the Director of Sales for a large multi-national consumer electronics manufacturer, left his job of twelve years in August of 2013 to pursue his lifelong passion as a professional artist. Talk about a career change especially when you consider that he’s a self-taught artist.
In the short launch into his full-time career as a professional artist Morgan is blazing trails! With several exhibitions under his belt already at galleries such as Walnut Contemporary and Blueprint, he is no stranger to the arts scene. Morgan has worked on several diverse projects across Toronto from being a guest artist for Plan Canada involved in the launch of their book Every Day is Mala Day to having his works displayed in offices such as The Capitol One building. Jones was commissioned to do lobby art for the Daniels Corporation as a part of their regent park condo development, One Park Place. His work can also be seen in both our Bathurst and Distillery District locations.
Given Morgan‘s rogue lifestyle and his extended love for heavy duty motorcycles it was an obvious fit to style him in our latest collection from Rogue and Matchless– two iconic/rugged brands perfect for his aesthetic.

On March 22, 2014 Gotstyle invited 400 of our top customers and industry partners to celebrate the start of the spring season at our Gotstyle #PrintAndPattern Party. Hosted at at our Gotstyle Distillery location, guests were treated to a great selection of custom complimentary cocktails by Herradura Tequila and Gentleman Jack Whisky, our signature Gotstyle Spring fashion show and a Gotstyle gift card to help kick start their spring shopping.
The most sartorially adventurous will attack spring’s major print and pattern trend with the ferocity of a lion. For the less aggressive, not inclined to commit to head-to-toe botanical, tie-dye and dots, Gotstyle has devised four implausibly easy ways to add hints of motif to masculine looks for any age.

Welcome to Day 2: Our day started promptly at 7:30am as we prepped ourselves for back to back showroom appointment across town. Our first destination was non other than Rogue where we got to check out the amazing collection for Fall ’14 and also got to meet the designer himself Jimmy Reilly. Though we can’t divulge the exact specs of what we’ve ordered suffice it to say we’ve got some incredible styles coming your way later this year. From there we headed to four other appointment that had us checking out some new brands like Soulland and Shades Of Grey and some of our regular favourites Moods Of Norway & Johnny Love. After wrapping up our appointments around 8pm we treated ourselves to a late night dinner at the amazing The Breslin restaurant at the Ace hotel where we are staying. For those keeping count, Day 2 = 13hrs straight, well that was easy!?

No man can have too many Summer shirts, just like sweaters in the Winter. We’ve rounded up our favourite Summer shirts, from t-shirts to long-sleeved shirts.
Having a couple versatile shirts will carry you through the Summer. Look for shirts that can be worn both casually and more polished – collared shirts are perfect for this. You’ll be able to hang out on a patio, and run right to a meeting or go out for dinner and drinks without doing a wardrobe change.
The designer for Rogue is a hardcore motorcross fan – you can see that passion in the articulation of the jackets and pants. He started off designing outerwear that soon found its way onto every hot Hollywood star. What makes the collection unique is that every garment is treated and constructed to have a worn look and it’s own personality.
