NO GOODS x George Frost Now Available

George Frost is a unsex jewelry line founded in New York City. Co-designed by Lisa Salzer and the creative minds of Marlon Taylor-Wiles and Jon Tyler Sneden, the line infuses the past and modernity to create a timelessly stylish collection.

Unity, loyalty, and peace are the powerful and unmistakable themes of George Frost’s second collection entitled NO GOODS. Embracing the revolutionary sentiments of the 1960’s, NO GOODS draws inspiration from the anti-Vietnam war protests, as well as the civil and women’s rights movements.

Incorporating re-appropriated government currency, such as George Washington’s eye embedded in a brass cuff, as well as hidden Morse code messages on beaded necklaces and bracelets, the collection toys with the notion of watching and being watched, suggesting a subversive statement about how “free” we really are. With several items crafted out of braided horsehair and the George Frost signature harpoon clasp as a nod to Victorian mourning jewelry and handmade trench art, the pieces further emphasize the anti-war attitudes by eluding to the fallen Americans that lost their lives to a cause that many neither understood nor supported.

After a roaring 2013, the boy of Vitaly are back with another season of great mens accessories. New this season, are the Kusari bracelets. Kusari is the Japanese term for mail armour a type of armour used by the samurai class and their retainers in feudal Japan. Inspired by this ancient craft the Vitaly boys have a created a gorgeous series of bracelets in a variety of finishes, from stainless steel, matte black, bronze, rose gold and gold.

Hook and Furl is a Made in Canada brand that produces unique hand-made lapel pins designed to enhance your look with an extra flash of colour, a hint of whimsy, and a lot of charm and sophistication. When Mark designed the first prototypes for his own use, his goal was to create something that simply added that finishing touch to his outfit. In doing so he inadvertently, as most great startup developed a product that offers a great alternative to the traditional lapel pin we’re so used to seeing.

Hook and Furl pins are all hand-made and fashioned with a wide range of colourful feathers, a wooden button, and bright threads making each piece unique and different form the last. With a price point of only $45/each they are extremely affordable and make for a great holiday stocking stuffer for any discerning gentlemen on your list.
