New Arrivals
Our favourite accessories brand Hook + Albert decided that it was about time that people had a clever carryall that combines the functionality of a garment bag with the pack-it-up portability of a weekender. The end result, a great collection of Garment Weekender bags that are going to change the way we travel. From business trips to New York to chilling at the cottage for the weekend, these bags can handle it all. Now available in both waxed canavas and saffiano leather (the same stuff premium leather brands use), these bags are undoubtably on of the best-looking bags on the market.
The workhorse bag works like this: the large duffel shape breaks down flat, which allows easy loading of the suit and shirts you’ll need for a weekend away. Tuck in some pocket squares and other accessory necessities into the zippered pockets, slide your dress shoes into the lined pouches, and zip the whole thing back up. What you’re left with is a bag with plenty of room to handle a weekend’s worth of clothes, but is already safely stocked with your most important pieces. Still not convinced? Check out the double-duty bag in action… – GQ

Style Makeover: Father’s Day Edition

Sasha Ferkul June 10, 2014

Not every father is as sartorially forward as they could be. Strong, devoted and hard-working to boot, dads think of their families first and their attire last. To celebrate Father’s Day and encourage the men who made us to look and feel like the stars of the show, GS staffers made over their ultra handsome papas. The resulting looks made for three very happy, dashing and dignified men- they adored every minute of it.

One Suit, Four Ways

May 16, 2014

Guys for the most part are conditioned to be very pragmatic shoppers. They look for things that they obviously need, but also things that give them the most amount of “versatility”. Though we are strong believers in having a diverse wardrobe, segmented for different occasions, we completely understand the need for versatility in ones closet. One of the most common questions we receive when wardrobing men in suits is, “Can these pieces be worn separately?”

To answer that very question we’ve put together this great style guide to demonstrate how you can wear one suit four ways.

All good things must come to an end, and with that we get ready to wrap up our stay in NYC and bid farewell to the big apple. But before we make our way to the airport there is still one matter of business that we needed to attend and that was the Mrket ShowBy far one of the better trade shows we’ve attended this season, Mrket definitely offered a curated collection of vendors that really alined well to our brand and customers. This became evident when we started noticing that almost all our vendors were exhibiting at the show. We had the boys from Lipson, PYA Patrick Assaraf, Seaward & Stearn, Without Prejudice, Loft 604, Hook & Albert, Oscar of Sweden, just to name a few, all present and showing their latest collections.

Here is yet another snap shot/behind the scenes look into our last day in New York. Till we meet again New York.
