Toronto Mens Fashion Week | Celebrity Runway Show

Our Toronto Mens Fashion Week show included local and global celebrities ranging from TV Personalties, fashion designers, and artists. The best part is all these looks are available to shop right now.

The Mens fashion for hope show is a charity show. MF4H sponsor Marriott Traveler matched $2 for every dollar raised, for the Kol Hope Foundation via SickKids. Totalling $23,535,53 presented to SickKids. Thank you to Swagger Magazine for the photos.

MENS FASHION4HOPE Celebrity Runway Show Recap

Call us biased but when you have Lennox Lewis lead a pack of 23 awesome celebrities down your runway during Toronto Men’s Fashion Week there’s no contest that your show just shut it down. That was the scene last week when we teamed up with TOM* to sponsor and style their annual celebrity Men’s Fashion4Hope charity runway show.

Hosted at College park the event was a sold out success- and quite possibly one of the most entertaining shows of the week. Not shocking when you consider that you have a collective of athletes, musicians, actors, youtube superstars and a few politicians strutting their stuff. Perhaps the only thing more interesting than the characters in the show was the fact that each celebrity was outfitted in our latest Fall/Winter styles. That may not seem to impressive at first until of course you take note of the fact that we dressed everyone off-the-rack, ranging From 6’4 Lennox Lewis down to 5’5 Senator Tobias Enverga- there were no special orders or made-to-measure, absolutely everything featured on the runway was off-the-rack! TOM* Fashion4Hope Celebrity Show Recap

Last week the city of Toronto hosted our very first Men’s Fashion Week known globally as TOM*. The event was a monumental success and something we are very proud to be part off. Our role the official sponsor of the Fashion4Hope celebrity runway show gave us the distinct pleasure of dressing some of this city’s most beloved celebrities- legendary designer David Dixon, fashion ambassador Glen Baxter, musicians Jarvis Church and Shawn Desman, TV personalities Devon Soltendieck, Tyrone Edwards, Carlos Bustamante and Steven & Chris…just to name a few.

Taking sartorial cues from screen legends like Frank Sinatra and other old Hollywood heavyweights, our feature runway show previewed a wide collection of formalwear, from vibrant sportcoat combinations to classic shawl collar tuxedos. We are thrilled that our sold-out show had the audience on their feet and raised some serious coin for the Fashion4Hope charity benefiting Kol Hope Foundation for Children and SickKids Hospital (GS alone donated $4,000.)

Gotstyle Teams Up With Toronto Men’s Fashion Week [TOM*] For Men’s Fashion4Hope Charity Show

With only seven in the world, Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM*) joins the ranks of London, Paris and Milan as one of the only cities on the planet to host a male-focused style event. Premiering this August 11-15th at the The Fairmont Royal York (100 Front St W, Toronto), TOM* is a pioneering initiative that aims to increase the profile and visibility of our ultra brilliant menswear designers.

Ranked as one of the best menswear stores in the country, it’s completely fitting that we are involved in this exciting sartorial affair. Gotstyle is proud to announce our return to the runway- dressing some of your favourite homegrown celebrities-Toronto Raptor Greivis Vasquez, design guru Karim Rashid, writer and producer Tyler Armes, and Toronto’s latest bachelor, Tim Warmels for the Men’s Fashion4Hope presentation happening Aug 13th at 8:00PM.
