“…It should come as no surprise that some athletes enjoy setting themselves apart from the rest of the pack with a bit of stylish creativity. And it turns out, they’ve been doing so for a while now, pioneering a sartorial movement in the world of sport that embodies their personalities both on and off the playing field. From Ali’s effortless style to Beckham’s dapper sensibilities, we’ve rounded up  a few of the most stylish athletes of all time.” Julia Parfenyuk Sharp Magazine

We’re proud to say that among the heavy hitters featured in this list is our very own Brand Ambassador Joffrey Lupul. For those that are unaware, we teamed up with Joffrey last year for our Lupulstyle charity collaboration, where we outfitted the Maple Leaf player for all his home-games. We then invited the public to rate each look from 1 to 4 pucks on our www.lupulstyle.com micro site. For every vote submitted Gotstyle and Lupe’s Troops will donate $1to the True Patriot Love Foundation in support military families across Canada.

In his featured pictures we outfitted Joffrey Lupul in a head-to-toe look by Without Prejudice.

Big shout-out to Sharp Magazine for featuring our epic Pantone Party in their latest issue on stands right now. The party marked the start of Spring and the official launch of our Distillery District location. It was a monumental occasion for us  and the start of a new chapter for our brand. We once again thank everyone who made it out that evening and celebrated with us!

We obviously love the products/brands we carry, but nothing trumps the feeling we get when other people love them just as much as us. Anderson’s Belts, Blue Industry and Walk-Over shoes are all recent additions to our stores. We introduced these brands because they align so well with our Gotstyle guys needs. Each one offers high-quality craftsmanship with a modern twist. So when Canada’s leading men’s magazine Sharp Book For Men decided to feature all three brands in their latest issue, we were ecstatic!

Featured in their Style Manual for Spring/Summer 2013, you can catch our belts from Anderson’s, our brushed cotton polkadot shirt by Blue Industry and last but not least, some great words of wisdom from Walk-Over General Manager James Rowley.

Welcome Martin, as he join the Eligible Magazine’s roster of the city’s most eligible bachelors. You may remember him from our Beach Ball sponsored charity event and an article in Sharp Magazine last year, or the casual fact that he is a former Olympic athlete.

Either way you’ll be happy to know that he is back out on the town and lending his name to another great charity event to raise money for SickKids. For more check out the Eligible Magazine / Sick Kids Auction for ticket details.

As one of the key sponsors for the event we got together with Martin and much like his counterparts dressed him head to toe in apparel from Gotstyle. We created a look that merged the formal aesthetic with an Urban modern twist, ideal for a star athlete turned entrepreneur. We put him in a great John Varvatos black leather blazer, grey double breasted cardigan and grey tweed cargo pant, Ted Baker blue denim shirt and Dibi green camo tie.
