There are some things that transition well from Winter to Summer, your suit isn’t one of them. Most Fall/Winter suits are made of heavier fabrics and come fully lined to help keep you insulated during those treacherous winter months. That is definitely not what you need during the Summer months. In summer you want a suit that will be light weight, breaths and keeps you cool as you galavant around town on your trendy speed cycle. These suits from Tiger of Sweden are great cotton and linen blends and come 1/4 lined making them extremely light weight and great for the office or even a casual summer wedding. The light colour pallet is on trend with this season and offers the wearer great versatility to mix and match. The best part about these suits is that they can be worn together or be deconstructed and worn as separates. Match the blazer with a nice pair of jean or throw on a great polo to match the “chino” like trousers.

We obviously love the products/brands we carry, but nothing trumps the feeling we get when other people love them just as much as us. Anderson’s Belts, Blue Industry and Walk-Over shoes are all recent additions to our stores. We introduced these brands because they align so well with our Gotstyle guys needs. Each one offers high-quality craftsmanship with a modern twist. So when Canada’s leading men’s magazine Sharp Book For Men decided to feature all three brands in their latest issue, we were ecstatic!

Featured in their Style Manual for Spring/Summer 2013, you can catch our belts from Anderson’s, our brushed cotton polkadot shirt by Blue Industry and last but not least, some great words of wisdom from Walk-Over General Manager James Rowley.

No matter the generation Prom has always been one of those “rite of passage” kind of moments. We’ve all been through it and no matter our varied experiences and memories we can all agree that Prom night is one you’ll remember for the rest of your life. So why not take part in your son, brother, nephew, cousins prom by bringing them in to get fitted for a great suit. Much like how we’ve convinced most of you into buying suits vs renting, that same wisdom needs to be passed down to the younger generation. Helping them to purchase a suit will not only make them look like a star at their prom but give you bragging rights for at least a few years, or until they graduate from college or university.

To sweeten the pot we’ve got two great promotions for our young gents.

  1. Suit trade in: simply bring in an old suit and we’ll give you a $50 credit towards the purchase of your new suit.
