Last night we celebrated the best and brightest in the movie industry at the 86th Annual Academy Awards, otherwise known as the Oscars. Some of the highlights included 12 Years A Salve walking away with Best Picture, Lupita Nyong’o’s incredible Oscar win and speech, Ellen Degeneres’s infamous record breaking celebrity #selfie which not only garnered over 2,813,444 retweets but officially shut down twitter and who could forget style icon Matthew McConaughey nabbing oscar gold for Best Actor.
Speaking of Style Icons, last nights red carpet definitely saw it’s fair share of some great menswear fashion moments. We saw everything from white & burgundy dinner jackets, to classic blue & black tuxedos, down to shorts, yup fashion mogul Pharrell Williams channeled his inner Thome Brown/Nick Wooster and rocked a look only he could pull off. So without further adieu here are our picks of Best Dressed Men at the 2014 Oscars.
Last nights Oscars led the way to bring out some of the best in Hollywood. Some sang, some presented and some took Oscar gold home. But only a few made it on our Best Dressed list for Oscar 2013. These men came dressed to impress!
Joseph Gordon Levitt has come a long way since his days on 3rd rock from the sun and so has his style. This rising Hollywood actor killed it on the runway with this number by Gucci.
He kill mutants and sings musicals, is there anything that Hugh Jackman can’t do?! He’s probably the only man we know that can successfully pull of a shawl collar double breasted suit without looking dated. Special mention to Tom Ford.
One fan said it best; Hi, I’m George Clooney and I collect Oscars.
Eddie Redmayne has mastered the art of looking effortless on the red carpet and this Alexander McQueen suit is a perfect example.
Daniel Day Lewis is the definition of #BOSS.This royal blue suit by Domenico Vacca was perfect! We wouldn’t expect anything less fron this 3 time Oscar winner.
Rocking a double breasted suit is a tricky proposition on the best of days least of all at the biggest night in show business. Luckily for Chris Pine, this made-to-measure Ermenegildo Zegna tux was perfection!
With his rising success, Bradley Cooper knocked it out of the park with this 3 piece look by Tom Ford.
