Staff Picks: Fall Transitional Outerwear

November 3, 2014

Fall is a great season for menswear, but it can be a little confusing. It’s not quite cold enough to bring out the parkas nor warm enough to just run around in a sweatshirt or denim jacket. So how does one cope? By investing in a few key transitional outerwear pieces.  Contrary to popular belief, transitional outerwear isn’t just good for the Fall season- it is great for early Spring, and a fundamental building block to any mans wardrobe.

So how does one decide which style of jacket to get? Understanding that not everyone prescribes to the same style aesthetic we reached out to our stylist to pick some of their favourites. These four transitional outerwear pieces not only showcase the diversity available but also how each can be styled to match your own personal style.

Got question about any of these looks? Drop by either our Bathurst or Distillery District location to chat with our stylist Tia, Mallory, Laura and Linda– or download our NEW Gotstyle App to send us a message.
