The 2015 Pan Am & Parapan Am games are fast approaching and as the host city we’re looking forward to welcoming the world to our multicultural melting pot also known as Toronto. This year marks so many great milestones both for this city, and the Gotstyle brand. In the last 10 years Toronto has established itself as one of the best cities in the world, in those same 10 years Torontonians have help propel us to grow to become one of the best menswear retailers in North America. To help celebrate this amazing year and everything that makes this city so incredible we bring you our Gotstyle Loves Toronto T-Shirt Design Contest.
SUMMARY
Gotstyle is looking for the best design talent our fans/customers have to offer during the 2015 Gotstyle Loves Toronto T-Shirt Design Contest. The grand prize winner will have his or her design printed on Gotstyle t-shirts, receive a $500 cash prize, $500 gift certificate and a feature on the Gotstyle website.
HOW TO ENTER
- Submissions will only be accepted from April 15, 2015 7:00 AM (EST) to May 15, 2015 11:59 PM (EST).
- Download this form and email it along with your submissions to info@gotstyle.ca . jpg submissions must be under 1 MB.
- All entry emails should have the subject line “T-shirt Design Contest Submission – First Name, Last Name.”
- Submit up to two designs per person. If you submit more than two, only your first two submissions in order of date and time will be considered.
- Designs should be max 2 colour design, to be printed on a plain white t-shirt.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to win.
- Submit only original designs. These designs must not contain copyrighted material and they cannot have previously won any awards.
- Submit front t-shirt designs only. There should be no text or visuals on the back of the shirt.
- Attach entries as medium resolution JPEG or pdf files.
- Please be prepared to submit the original Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop file in the case your artwork is chosen.
- The winning designs will become property of Gotstyle. NO ADDITIONAL MATERIALS (VIDEOS, SAMPLES, ETC) WILL BE ACCEPTED WITH YOUR SUBMISSION.
To be eligible to enter and win, entrants must be 18 years of age or older as of May 15, 2015. Employees of Gotstyle and its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, prize providers, participating retail locations and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and members of the immediate family and persons living in the same household of each are ineligible. Contest is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law, and subject to all federal state and local laws and regulations.
REVIEW & SELECTION
- Entries will be reviewed by Gotstyle staff in Toronto.
- There will be (1) grand prize winner
- The winning design to be printed and sold in stores with the artist featured in stores and online.
- The artist must provide the original illustrator or Photoshop file if artwork is selected.
- Finalists will be required to provide reference files (i.e., preliminary drawings, source for idea).
- Winners will be notified before or by May 15, 2015.
*** If submitted designs are not deemed satisfactory, Gotstyle reserves the right to not select a grand prize winner.
NOTIFICATION & PRIZES
- The grand prize winner will be notified by email before or by May 15, 2015 before 6:00 PM (EST). Only the winner will be contacted.
- The winner will receive a $500 Cash prize and $500 Gift certificate.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The GOTSTYLE LOVES TORONTO T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST begins on April 15, 2015 and ends on May 15, 2015. The contest is open only to those 18 years of age or older. Due to the high number of potential submissions, we will only be contacting the finalists. All finalists will be subject to the terms and conditions of this contest as set forth in writing by Gotstyle. We will be unable to return any physical samples, files or artwork submitted for the contest.
