Style Makeover With Humble and Fred

You can’t have a conversation about legendary radio personalities without mentioning these guys- Humble & Fred, a Toronto-based Canadian radio show, featuring co-hosts “Humble” Howard Glassman and Fred Patterson, has aired on a variety of Canadian radio stations since 1989. These guys are the definition of Canadian radio royalty.

Though the industry has been good to their careers it hasn’t been that good to their personal style. Satisfied with relaxed jeans and polos just doesn’t cut it, especially when you invite founder Melissa Austria on the show to talk about her passion for menswear. Armed with sportcoats, tailored jean and some great shirts Melissa arrived on set determined to breath new life into the boys wardrobe. The end result, this awesome before/after makeover.

Earlier this year we introduced you to the Gotstyle Thigh Guide for pants which gave you a quick road map through some of our brands and their varying fits. The goal, to educate and empower you to find the perfect fit to match your body. After an overwhelming positive response to the guide we are back with a version dedicated to suits.

Much like pants, finding the right suit can be a daunting task especially for those who dislike shopping to begin with. Hypebeast Features Exclusive Gotstyle x Sully Wong Digi-Camo Sneaker

Gotta love some good press! Today, we learned that our passion project got featured on global powerhouse Hypebeast thanks to an amazing photo series done by Toronto streetstyle photographer @TheBrightestHour.

In 2014, Gotstyle launched the #LupulStyle initiative with Maple Leafs superstar Joffrey Lupul to raise money and awareness for the True Patriot Love foundation. A Canadian not-for-profit organization designed to help military families in need. Even though that phase of our initiative through #LupulStyle project came to a close and raised over 25k our commitment to TPL and our veterans never did. To keep the momentum alive we teamed up with our good friends George and Henry of Sully Wong to create an exclusive commemorative digi-camo sneaker that celebrated our Canadian Armed Forces and continued our commitment to them.

By purchasing a pair digi-camo sneakers in-store or from our online store Gotstyle will donate a portion of the sales to the True Patriot Love foundation.
