One of our favourite and long time Gotstyle clients Guy Rubino has a new music project that has us rocking in the store daily.  You may know Guy Rubino as owner and executive chef at his wildly successful Toronto restaurants, Zoom, Rain, Luce and Strada 241 and from his hit television series Made To Order.

Rubino has now hung up his chef whites in favour of his guitar, tour bus and life as a budding rock star.  His first project is Girl, an indie rock band with Jean Sebastien Roy formerly of the Stills.  They draw influences from past and present indie bands such as The Cure and Phoenix. Girl recently has returned from NYC to record their first EP soon to be released on iTunes.

The Gotstyle team will be heading out this Saturday to cheer on Girl at a rare Toronto music showcase at The Great Hall on Queen West along with a few other of the cities best indie bands.
