What’s New: Shirts & Blazers from SAND

MELISSA SAYS: We have been carrying SAND since it launched in Canada. For fall, I love the red carpet looks that are perfect for any TIFF party and whenever you want to stand out in a sea of penguins. They are on trend with the new micro prints and still offer the best coloured striped and checks. Don’t forget to layer their fine gauge sweaters over your shirts, to give them a fresh new look. My favorite item of the season is the navy tuxedo with the black satin shawl collar, perfect for the guy who likes it stirred, not shaken.

What’s New: Blazers and Pants from Franklin + Gower

Franklin + Gower is a Los Angeles based line that puts a lot of character into their suits. Sold separately with casual tuxedo piping, these blazers and pants have a trimmer cut and are available in two summer-friendly flavours: seersucker and basic beige. The fabric is contrasted under the lapel and in the lining: fun patterns aren’t immediately visible to the naked eye while the lighter colours allow you to comfortably attend your summer events, or can be worn casually throughout the day.

Blazers are priced at $385, while the pants are available for $185.

What’s New: Summer Tuxedos from Drykorn

Drykorn‘s modern take on a classic tuxedo combines casual with formal. Our newest arrivals include three new pieces from Drykorn.

Funk up your look with a white contrast tuxedo (above), an ideal suit for spring/summer. It’s a modern spin on a classic piece and ideal for summer formal events. Also features a white satin peak lapel for added flavour. Priced at $775.

In denim is the blue tuxedo blazer (below right). It’s denim on denim tonal contrast on the lapel, and is best suited for the casual evening look. Priced at $495.

What’s New: Suits from Drykorn

In a rather sly, peak lapel, these suits from Drykorn are a guaranteed show stopper. The German fashion house juggernaut has a slick new spring suit selection, including three new ones available at Gotstyle.

Above is their new three-piece suit in textured grey at $995. For $895, the black two-piece suit underneath it features a peak lapel, a slim fit, and a black-on-black pattern that the up-close will admire. Next to it is the navy peak lapel blazer ($550, pants not available) – a fantastic shine & colour to match almost any sort of shirt.

In previous years, we’ve carried the American fit, built for larger frames. New for this season is the English fit: a much slimmer cut. If you’re familiar with the Endurance series, one of their most popular series, you’ll love the fit.
