What’s New: Shirts & Blazers from Ted Baker

British cut Ted Baker has arrived for fall, including some fantastic shirts and blazer. If slim fit Italian isn’t your thing, this is your next best bet. Complete with a striped lapel, this Ted Baker blazer is priced at $565.

Four new styles of shirts are available, ranging from $195 to $265. Whether it’s solid, plaid, striped or patterned, Ted has you covered.

MELISSA SAYS: If you are looking for a collection that is modern classic with just enough of a twist, Ted is for you. It doesn’t have to shout, but his detailing will get you noticed. My favorite item for the season is his blazer with the detailing on the lapel (above) – it’s what every smart dressed man should be wearing out on a Saturday night.

MELISSA SAYS: We have been carrying SAND since it launched in Canada. For fall, I love the red carpet looks that are perfect for any TIFF party and whenever you want to stand out in a sea of penguins. They are on trend with the new micro prints and still offer the best coloured striped and checks. Don’t forget to layer their fine gauge sweaters over your shirts, to give them a fresh new look. My favorite item of the season is the navy tuxedo with the black satin shawl collar, perfect for the guy who likes it stirred, not shaken.

Melissa says: SAND has always offered “up to the minute” European trends and great finishing details, without breaking the bank. For the guy who has moved beyond stripes, look for micro prints, iridescent solids (blue is the new black!) and checks and plaids that are still going strong (but look for them in dressier fabrics).

New shirts from UK based Religion are in for summer, including golf tees, simple henleys, and v-neck graphic tees. Great for the guy who does the casual rocker look often. Shirts by Religion are priced at $85.

What’s New: Juma

Juma is our latest Canadian line for the everyday, fashion forward individual. Working best with the taller, slender built guys, these pieces have been constructed with beautiful fabrics, silks, and cashmere. Soft and smooth to the touch, these higher end tops, shorts, and scarves are built to impress.
