The Tiger is Back!

September 30, 2011

After being out of the store for a few seasons, Tiger of Sweden is back at Gotstyle! For fall, we’re carrying their black and grey suits in the slim fit tuxedo pictured above ($849), and the Norden suit ($799) pictured below.

Norden is a great fit for guys who want a trim pant but don’t want to go too slim in the pants. We will also be carrying a new super slim model with an even shorter jacket called Edvin that we will have in stock in a few weeks.

Tiger was one of the first brands that understood the new modern fit for men, they offer clean lines and sophisticated looks with great Swedish style.

If you have a job, which we know you do, then you need a grey suit. Why not stand out from the office crowd with the fall version of Georges St-Pierre’s favourite suit?

A charcoal Without Prejudice suit is perfect for work, but it can also be mixed up for dates, dinners or out at night. The medium grey colour and contrasting black trim adds a more formal touch, make this a versatile suit able to go from the office and out after. If you’ve got a lot of bright colours in your wardrobe, a grey suit is the key to wearing them well.

To stay traditional, we’ve got the (above) Without Prejudice suit. The lighter grey colour of this suit makes it more office appropriate and less versatile for more social or formal events. If you’ve already got the basics for work, social and formal wear, this suit would be a great addition for your fall/winter work wear.

Both suits are available for $895.

Now that we’re moving into fall, we’ve got TIFF, fashion week, holiday parties and many more social events coming up. There’s nothing worse than being the guy in the outdated or oddly coloured suit. If you plan on going out at night, a black suit is a must.

This Strellson three-piece suit is priced $850 and will have you covered for any social outing with its slim cut, neutral black colour and subtle sheen. Lasting for many seasons, it’ll serve as a versatile item in your wardrobe.

Switching up your look with colourful ties, bowties and dress shirts is never a challenge when you’re working with a solid black suit. For more formal events like weddings and funerals, a white dress shirt is the best option. For cocktails and social gatherings, feel free to play with colour and pattern. For an edgier look, go with a black dress shirt for a black on black look.

British cut Ted Baker has arrived for fall, including some fantastic shirts and blazer. If slim fit Italian isn’t your thing, this is your next best bet. Complete with a striped lapel, this Ted Baker blazer is priced at $565.

Four new styles of shirts are available, ranging from $195 to $265. Whether it’s solid, plaid, striped or patterned, Ted has you covered.

MELISSA SAYS: If you are looking for a collection that is modern classic with just enough of a twist, Ted is for you. It doesn’t have to shout, but his detailing will get you noticed. My favorite item for the season is his blazer with the detailing on the lapel (above) – it’s what every smart dressed man should be wearing out on a Saturday night.

Long awaited are the new T-Concept suits by Tombolini – the ideal suit for the slim fit figure. On the left, Max is wearing the new charcoal suit ($750) with a Altea tie ($115) and Terri Brogan sunglasses ($189) from our Kings of Past collection. Available are four new styles of Tombolini suits in black and grey solid, with varying details.

Melissa says: TConcept is one of the strongest selling suit lines in the store; modern slim fit, half canvas construction, Italian fabrics, all this for the magic price point of $800. You won’t find better value for the money out there!
