The well-dressed fellow in the middle is wearing slim fit cargo pants from Rogue, a new line we’ve introduced only a week ago. Undoubtably one of our most unique pieces this season. And both Gotstyle and the latest issue of GQ fully approve.

Sligo is a Canadian golfwear company that we’ve had our eye on for a while (well actually a few customers recommended them). The brand was started by four Toronto golfing buddies who saw a need for more fashionable apparel in the marketplace. Their golf tees are slim fitted, however not European cut. It’s the perfect fit for the bigger guys who don’t like it tight, but appreciate their shirts form fitting.

Sligo is the perfect blend of fashion and functionality:
1. All of the golf tops are a technical polyester interlock with wicking properties, UV protectant, antimicrobial (so they won’t smell) and have a 4 way mechanical stretch (so you can move comfortably).
2. The pants and shorts are a polyester / lycra blend so they dry easily and are super comfortable.

The line is also endorsed by golf heavyweights & tournament champs Brian Gay and Justin Hicks (seen above).

Hit the fairways in style with four fun patterns of golf tees (from $65 to $70), and different styles of shorts ($65 to $75) and pants ($80)!

The Farah brand was born in the 1920s but it was not until the 1970s in the UK that it reached the cult status it holds today.

The original Farah slack made from hopsack canvas became an immediate hit with the youth of britain: slim cut, sharply tailored and featuring stain resistant technology, the trouser was unlike anything available at the time.

Momentum for the brand grew and in the 1980s Farah became a must have label amongst fashion savvy hipsters, including the mods, skins, sticksmen and rocker-billys. Seen on the balconies at gigs across the UK music scene, each group interpreted the brand within their own style, building key farah items into what became their definitive looks. The clothes came to represent a sense of elitism while generating respect for those who displayed the now famous “Farah F Tab”.

Today the Farah label still holds the heritage and vigour it stood for then. A whole new generation of men throughout the world are drawn to the brand’s history and inspired to rediscover the distinct look for themselves.

Not all items in the branding shots above are available at the store, but we did order a vast amount of pieces from their collection:

Polos $89-$128
Tanktops $59
Shirts $98
Shorts $99
Pants $128
Blazer $229

New at Gotstyle: Desigual from Barcelona, Spain.

I brought this collection to the store because I love their fun, bold colors and crazy patchwork designs. Their philosophy is the same as ours – great fashions at an affordable price point and they offer designs and patterns that you won’t see anywhere. I love their fine gauge sweaters that are perfect for layering now, and pants and shorts that are a great change of pace to jeans and chinos. The brand is sold in over 60 countries around the world and is one of the most recognized brands in Spain (and slowly though out Europe!).

Polos $95
Shirts $110
Sweaters $135 – $150
Pants $150 – $175
Shorts $95 – $150

What’s New: Rogues Gallery

November 16, 2010

Rogues Gallery, the ultimate casual brand at Gotstyle has had a few more pieces arrive for this Fall/Winter.

‘Tis the season for more reindeer in our lives! Game tee is available for $65 each.

One of the best options for a wintery season in or outdoors is flannel, and Rogues Gallery’s brushed navy flannel shirt is just that. Soft on the skin, for both the bearer and the one cozying up next to him. Priced at $145.

Pair up this vest with anything: t-shirt, flannel shirts, sweaters, and even as a liner for your jacket. A complimentary vest can go with almost anything you wear. Get one for $185.

Didn’t you hear Melissa the last time she went on her rant against jeans? Alternative bottoms are in, and this brown casual pair of pants from Rogues Gallery fits the bill. And the lining is full of loons! Available for $225.

Please take off your pants

Favorite words I love saying to guys shopping in the store! This season I will be saying it alot more because we have some amazing pants for this Fall. Take a look in your closet now and what do you have for pants? Tons of denim, some boring dress pants and maybe a few pairs of chinos. For years it’s all been about the shirt but this season the pant is taking over to help up-grade your wardrobe (so make some room in your closet!).

What’s great about the new styles of pants this season?

Great fabrics – look for menswear classics like tweeds, flannels, checks and plaids in modern fits. Ease of co-ordination these fabrics are super easy to mix and match with, many can take you from casual to work to evening.

These Ted Baker pants have a great velvet trim detail $250

Another great Ted pant in a black / blue birdeye give you tons of versitility when it comes to co-ordinating. $275

My Favorite pant of the season – tuxedo stripe in a nice sturdy fabric, the perfect alternative to jeans when going out. Where it with a white french cuff shirts or a hoodie – either way it works!

Sand herringbone pants $250

We have a great selection of subtle check pants in for Fall like Cinque $225 and Stones $195. Wear them with neurtral colors for work and spice them up with their accent color for evening.

If you notice these pants all have substance – important to think about how your boys are going to feel when it’s minus 30 out! (you don’t want the wind whistling though those thin dress pants you usually wear do you?)
