Why does World Cup soccer drive everyone crazy?
Because it doesn’t matter if you watch the game on a regular basis, when it comes to World Cup everyone becomes a fanatic fan when you’re cheering for your country (or your heritage). And as women, soccer players are the hottest athletes aound!
We are excited to be launching The Umbro World Champions Collection at Gotstyle this June. Umbro has modernized the soccer jersey for the seven Champion nations: England, France, Germany, Brazil, Italy, Argentina and Uruguay. Each shirt was designed and inspired by classic kits from each Champion nation, then one of the hottest artist from each country was choosen to design their country’s individual crest. To make the collection even more exciting, Umbro has enlisted the wifes and girlfriends of seven international soccer stars to model the jersey’s for their global advertising campaign. (Genius! the idea is based on an iconic campaign run by Umbro in 1967 that featured women cheekily wearing soccer jerseys as dresses)
