The Concept:  Share a couples personal history and their deep adoration for Toronto through the details of their wedding celebration.

The Theme:  Inspiration images, favourite colours and a strong desire to highlight our beloved city, culminated in a vintage botanical theme, in shades of burnt coral, earthy greens, creams and a touch of black.  A simple aesthetic which honours the bride’s late grandmother, an avid gardener and beekeeper.  Storied pieces were paired with modern geometric shapes to bring the past and the present together in a timeless conversation.

WEDDING OF THE WEEK: RYAN & STELLA

Meet Ryan, a young professional with a keen eye for style who came to us a couple of months back to get outfitted for his gorgeous wedding. Fortunately for us when Ryan sat down with our made-to-measure expert Konstantine he had a clear vision of what he was striving for. For his suit we virtually customized every aspect from the width and angle of the lapels, location of the button and shape of the front panels to create a garment that would meet all his needs and wants. The end result was this “Tom Ford inspired” single button, peak lapel tuxedo.

Ever wonder what would happen if you combined some drop-dead gorgeous vintage stylings, a fabulous rustic setting and some sweet boho-chic goodness into one dazzling day of inspiration?  Well, wonder no more, Magnolia Studios and Blossom Events put together this great editorial to showcase that vision with some of Canada’s finest vendors and fashion brands. For this editorial the team took a slight departure from the traditional suit and tie story for the groom and opted for something a little more “boho-chic”. The look features our  John Varvatos suspender trousers, with our Mastai Ferretti shirt, polkadot Ted Baker tie and cufflinks by Cuffwear.

Wedding Of The Week: Steve Euser & Jessica Russell

Big congrats to our latest groom Steve and his wife Jessica! Steve came to us looking for a suit that would work seamlessly with his summer, classic-meets-vintage wedding vibe. So naturally we skipped on the dark navy’s and blacks and went straight for this cool grey made-to-measure tux from Tombolini. The modern yet classic cut of the suit was just want Steve was looking for and after a few moderate alterations he was set for his big day!
